Run A Relay News

January 2010

Dear Runners,

Like you, my heart goes out to the people in Haiti, and I wonder "what can I do?" As you have, I have made a donation to organizations such as the Red Cross, UNICEF, or other organizations. The outpouring by individuals from all over the world has been amazing.

As a business owner, I wonder what can my company do. My business is already a member of 1% For the Planet, (1% of our revenues are donated to environmental organizations). But I want to do more, and I want it to go towards Haiti's future, when they aren't the news topic of the day. So I decided to become involved with Habitat for Humanity International. Click here to read what Habitat for Humanity is currently doing in Haiti.

Therefore, between today and the end of February, for every team that registers for the Green Mountain Relay or the Wild West Relay, I will donate a portion of the registration fee to Habitat for Humanity. For 12-person teams, I will donate $100, and for 6-person Ultra teams, I will donate $50.

So Run a Relay and help Haiti.

Sincerely,
