WWR Captains and Female participants:

I wanted to give you this important heads up concerning the tech shirts you will be receiving when you show up at the start for the WWR.

This past weekend was my other long distance relay, the Green Mountain Relay in Vermont. I distributed the same shirts to participants. Many women wanted to trade the shirt they signed up for and received, for a larger shirt (sometimes because of the length). I want to make sure that you receive a shirt that fits as I will not have extras to trade for.

My suggestion is, pick out a shirt that you like the fit of and measure it. Compare the measurements with the Sport Science shirts. If you want to make a change, contact your team captain and ask them to make the change by logging in to the WWR database.

*Sport Science sent me the measurement of the width of the shirt and I doubled it.

Sport Science DOES NOT make a Women's XS, but the Sleeveless shirts are sized smaller so that is my recommendation.

If you do not take the time to do this, you could be disappointed with your shirt you receive and there won't be larger shirt to trade for.

Captains - please make sure you follow up with all the women on your team and let them know the shirt style they have currently selected. Many woman did not go through after an earlier email to pick between the Crew and Sleeveless style, so I went through and converted them all to the Crew Neck style.

As I will be ordering many shirts early to and getting them printed to make it easier on the printer, quick attention to this would be greatly appreciated. The deadline is when the database closes on July 8th.

Thanks,

Paul
