CWR Captains,

Thanks for signing up to participate in the revival of the Civil War Relay! I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Just a couple of things I want to mention:

• Remember that the database will close at 11:55 PM MST on Sunday Nov. 20th. After this date, any changes to your team will need to be turned in at the start on a substitution form with a $!0 fee per substitution. Only runners in the database will be guaranteed to receive the size shirt they requested. On race day, substitutes will have to choose from what I have left in stock.

• I had a brand new database that was built from scratch this past fall and there has been a learning curve to getting it to work how I envisioned it. One of the things that is too late to fix for this year is the shirts. My plan was to hand out long-sleeve Green Layer Finisher tech shirts. Men, you are fine, but unfortunately, I just noticed that the women's shirts available for selection are the crew and singlet styles (this is what I offer for my summer races). So ladies, you will receive the Greenlayer Evolution LS Tee - PLEASE contact your captain to change your size if necessary. Sorry for the inconvenience.

• The Relay Handbook and Leg Maps are now available to download. You can find the link on the Captain's Resources page.

Registration closes Friday and the database Sunday. Starting Monday, I will be ordering the shirts, and will start working on the Starting Times and volunteer assignments as well as their maps and instructions. I should have that done by mid-week. I will send you an email with that information when available.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in a couple of weeks. If you have any questions before then, I'll be happy to answer them.
