CWR Captains,

Thanks for signing up to participate in the third year of the revival of the Civil War Relay! I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Just a couple of things I want to mention:

• Remember that the database will closes this Sunday Nov. 13th at 11:55 PM MST . After this time, any changes/additions to your team will need to be turned in at the start on a substitution form with a $!0 fee per form. Only runners in the database will be guaranteed to receive the size finisher shirt they requested. On race day, substitutes will have to choose from what I have left in stock.

• The Relay Handbook and Leg Maps are now available to download. You can find the link on the Captain's Resources page. If you already downloaded the Leg Map book, minor changes/corrections were made. You would just have to reprint Legs 21 - 25.

• Start times will be assigned and posted early next week.

• For those of you that are supplying volunteers, it will be an online selection process. I will email out instructions and the date and time it will go live (probably Wednesday morning) at least 24 hours in advance. I'll have the volunteer booklet posted later this week that will list the volunteer locations and instructions. If you selected the non-profit donation option, you are all set, no need to do anything else.

Registration closes Friday and the database Sunday. Starting Monday, I will be ordering the shirts, and will start working on the Starting Times. I will send you an email with that information when available.

I caught a bit of the OSU - Stanford game last weekend; will be fun to watch the Oregon - Stanford game this weekend. Hopefully the Civil War game will be a good one.
